The Nation's Toughest Takedown Camp

News related to D1-Wrestling.com This camp is not for everyone.  It is a fast pace very high intensity camp for the elite level junior/senior high wrestler looking to compete at Fargo and other major events.

Camp features include:

5 sessions/day, (typical camp is 3/day)
AM conditioning run by U.S. Army Rangers!
Marine Corps Greco Roman Team training and teaching the entire camp!
Clinicians include: Nate Carr, Jimmy Carr, Eric Guerrero, Rick Bonomo, and Johnny Johnson
Minimum 5 matches every night
Strength and conditioning workouts daily
The strength of our camp is the high level of discipline and intensity placed on the wrestler by world class clinicians and Armed Services athletes.  

Camp Date: June 29th-July 3rd 2008

Camp Location: Estella, Pa(Maple Lake Sports Camp

Field for 2009 Escape the Rock Tournament Announced

The field has been set for the next year’s Escape the Rock Tournament, which will take place on January 9 & 10, 2009 at Council Rock South High School in Holland, PA. The event has attracted some top teams from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Virginia. The newcomers this year are headlined by nationally ranked Central Mountain, who were the PA state tournament runner-up and 3rd at the PA state duals, Phillipsburg, New Jersey, who were in the top 4 at the NJ state duals and perennial Virginia state power Great Bridge. Also making their first appearance at Escape the Rock will be PA teams Bald Eagle Area, Bellefonte, Fort LeBoeuf and Ridley. With the strength of the returning teams and the high quality of newcomers, the tournament has once again upgraded an already competitive field!
